{"id":6746,"date":"2025-08-25T11:42:39","date_gmt":"2025-08-25T16:42:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/boisforte.com\/news-events\/?p=6746"},"modified":"2025-08-25T11:49:56","modified_gmt":"2025-08-25T16:49:56","slug":"special-election-notice","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/boisforte.com\/news-events\/special-election-notice\/","title":{"rendered":"Special Election Notice"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Bois Forte Reservation Tribal Council hereby announces that a Special Election will be held on December 29, 2025, on the Bois Forte Reservation to fill the vacancy in the Reservation Tribal Council District I (Nett Lake) position.<\/p>\n<p>This Special Election provides for a Primary Election to be held on October 28, 2025, in the event that there are more than two (2) eligible candidates for the open position.<\/p>\n<p>Elected positions to be filled are as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>COMMITTEE PERSON DISTRICT I \u2013 BOIS FORTE (NETT LAKE) RESERVATION TRIBAL COUNCIL \u2013 TERM ENDING 2028<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Candidates shall file with the Secretary\/Treasurer or her designee during regular business hours beginning on August 25, 2025.
