On April 19, 2021, Bois Forte Health Services confirmed that there were 3 new cases of COVID-19 on the Bois Forte Reservation.\u00a0 \u00a0One of the cases is in their 50\u2019s, one is in their 30\u2019s and one is in their 20\u2019s.\u00a0 Two cases reside on the Nett Lake side and One resides on the Vermilion side of the Reservation.<\/p>\n
Bois Forte Reservation currently has 4 active positive case of COVID-19. \u00a0Bois Forte has had a total of 57 active and recovered positive cases of COVID-19, 28 in Nett Lake and 29 in Vermilion.\u00a0 Recovered, means they are no longer contagious and have been released from Isolation.<\/p>\n
Rest assured that Bois Forte Health is doing everything in its power to keep the Reservation community safe while also providing support for those who have tested positive for COVID-19.\u00a0 Bois Forte Health will maintain regular contact with the isolated individuals and will monitor their compliance with isolation instructions.\u00a0 Bois Forte Health is engaged in contact tracing and will follow up with those suspected of having recent contact with the individuals who tested positive.\u00a0 Finally, the Band is coordinating with the Minnesota Department of Health regarding positive cases on-Reservation to ensure a robust and thorough public health response.<\/p>\n
