Bois Forte Scholarship Laptop Program Policies
A. Purpose. The purpose of this policy is to establish eligibility criteria and other requirements associated
with the Laptop Program provided by the Bois Forte Band. The Laptop Program is intended to facilitate
students’ ability to engage in distance learning during the COVID-19 public health emergency.
B. Eligibility. Applications for Laptop Program may be filed by persons who:
1. Are enrolled members of the Bois Forte Band of Chippewa Indians, and
2. Certify a need for a laptop in order to engage in distance learning as a part of their current educational program; and
3. Are enrolled in Post-Secondary Education courses or enrolled in a high school grades 7-12.
