REQUEST FOR PUBLIC COMMENT: Proposed Amendment to RTC Bylaws
The Bois Forte Reservation Tribal Council (“RTC”) is considering an amendment to the Bois Forte Bylaws that would change the requirement for the Chairperson to report on the State of the Band in January of each year so that the report would occur in March instead. The RTC believes that March is a better time for the State of the Band to occur because Band Members expressed a preference for March.
Pursuant to Article V of the Bylaws, the Reservation Tribal Council hereby authorizes the posting and publication of the following proposed amendment for public comment. The comment period shall be 30 days, commencing on May 28, 2025, and ending on June 27, 2025. All comments shall be submitted to the Reservation Tribal Council, attention Executive Assistant, Bois Forte Tribal Government, in person or via email (executiveassistant@boisforte-nsn.gov) or online.
