Nett Lake Wild Rice Condition Report, 8/13/2026

Wild rice continues to develop well and is presently on schedule for a September harvest. Conservation Committee is watching development closely and has not yet set harvest opening date. Rice bed area extent has expanded significantly, and plants are in flower/kernel development stage (seed kernels have not reached milk stage yet). Surface area coverage will be measured during the week August 17-21 and additional mapping report will be posted at that time.
