Nett Lake Ricing Update
Ricing on Nett opened on September 6. Thinner beds are ripe, dense bed interiors are still green. Rice buying started on Monday, September 8. Rice buying occurs daily, and on weekends between 3pm-5pm. Rice buy location has been moved from DNR boat garage to DNR Office parking lot. Price paid for clean green rice is $5 per pound. If weather continues warm and stable, anticipate rice availability and weight to increase over next weeks as dense beds mature.
