The Minnesota Department of Public Safety is seeking applications for a Tribal Liaison

The Minnesota Department of Public Safety is hiring a Tribal Liaison, a position assigned to the Commissioner’s Office and which is part of Community Affairs. In addition to providing expert consultation to executive staff to ensure recognition of tribal authorities, interests, and agreements, the liaison will coordinate Indian policy work across DPS and with other state agencies. Knowledge of state and federal crime victim funds and the impact on tribal nations is an asset for this role. Experience with crime victim issues in tribal nations and/or urban Native American communities is also desired.

The deadline for submission is February 16, 2021.
