Lake Vermilion Netting Permits Now Available

2026 Lake Vermilion netting permits are available at the Nett Lake C-Store, and the Vermilion Center. Permits are also available at the Nett Lake DNR Office. Nett Lake Conservation Officers are not currently available to assist but permits can be issued in the interim by DNR staff persons. 1854 Treaty Office Conservation Officers will be on duty at lake landings within Vermilion Reservation during netting season and permits can be obtained on site from those Officers as well. Netting permits are free for Bois Forte Members. 1854 Tribal ID must be presented at time of permit issuance.
