Bois Forte Rescue Plan Economic Recovery Program
The Bois Forte Tribal Council has approved an additional $1,800 in assistance under the Bois Forte American Rescue Plan Economic Recovery Program to provide emergency financial assistance to eligible Band Members who have suffered a negative economic impact due to the COVID-19 public health emergency.
- New applications received on or after December 11 will be processed in the order they are received and can be completed electronically on the Bois Forte website. They can also be faxed, emailed, mailed, or dropped off at the RTC offices in Nett Lake or Vermilion.
- Checks reported as lost will have a minimum 30-day waiting period before a stop payment can be requested. A $20.00 stop check fee will be assessed for each check. Please contact your local post office first, if you believe your check is lost in the mail.
- If the assistance check is returned, the Band Member can retrieve their check in person at the Tribal Government Building in Nett Lake or they must submit an official address change in accordance with the above guidelines before the check will be re-mailed.

You do NOT need to reapply if you have already received the $1,400.
