Bois Forte Public Health COVID-19 Case Announcement 1/20/22

Posted January 20, 2022

Boozhoo All

We had 6 new cases and currently have 37 active cases as of 1/19/22 on the Bois Forte Reservation.

Please wear a mask with all contacts outside your household.  Be especially cautious at work.  We currently have quite a few staff out.

Please get tested if you have ANY of the following symptoms:  new runny nose, cough, sore throat, fever, body ache, headache, nausea, diarrhea or vomiting.

Please get vaccinated or boosted:  Starting January 18, 2022, if you have contact with a positive case and your COVID vaccines are not up to date you WILL BE QUARANTINED.  Bois Forte will be adopting the quarantine guidelines form CDC and MDH at that time.

What that means is:  If you had Pfizer or Moderna and it’s been longer than 5 months since your last shot OR you had Johnson & Johnson and it’s been longer than 2 months you are DUE NOW FOR A BOOSTER!  For more information:
