US Census Bureau Looking for Participants

Posted May 4, 2021

The U.S. Census Bureau is looking for adults and children to help test a questionnaire on smartphones. The questionnaire will be used for a national survey of Americans’ food acquisition.

We are recruiting households that receive food assistance (e.g., WIC or SNAP) and have a K–12 school child 15 years old or younger, or have individuals who are older than 60 years.

The school child will participate in the study along with the parent. The study will be conducted in May 2021. Participation in the study requires about 15 minutes per day over seven days, plus three interview sessions that will last one- to two-hours each. Adult participants will receive $125 and children $95 upon completion of the study. (Federal employees are not eligible to receive the $125.)

Please call 301-763-4979 or email csm.participate@census.gov to learn more. Please mention “FoodAPS” in the email subject line or when you call.
