Bois Forte is choosing to Follow the Pause on use of Johnson & Johnson Vaccine during Review
Out of an abundance of caution, and with the recommendation of the CDC and MDH, Bois Forte will be pausing the use of the Janssen (Johnson & Johnson) vaccine immediately. Any clinics Bois Forte had planned with the Janssen (Johnson & Johnson) vaccine will be offering the Moderna vaccine until further notice.
We are recommending that individuals who have already received the Jansen (Johnson & Johnson) vaccine who experience severe headache, abdominal pain, leg pain, or shortness of breath within three weeks of getting the shot contact their health care provider.
