Update from Bois Forte Head Start, Early Head Start, and Childcare

Boozhoo Bois Forte Community,
COVID-19 has impacted our Head Start, Early Head Start, and Childcare Programs this week. After meeting with the Tribal Council, Public Health Officials, and our team, we have made the decision to do a re-start and move to the Distance Learning Model beginning on Monday, November 30, 2020 until Monday, January 4, 2021. During this time period, teachers will be working on packets for the children and getting out while we are Distance Learning. All those who were “direct contacts” have been notified at this time.
We plan to meet next week to discuss other options moving forward including the hours of the Boys and Girls Club and Childcare for Essential Workers. We will update you when more decisions are made.
