The Bois Forte Band of Chippewa is having a moose hunt this year and it will be held within the boundaries of the Reservation.

Season Dates: September 13th – December 31st, 2025

No. of Permits: 6 total (9)

Important Dates:

• August 1st: Applications available
• August 29th: Applications due
• September 2nd: Lottery drawing Held
• September 9th: Permit, tag and information provided to lead hunter
• September 13th: Season opens
