1854 Treat Authority-Bois Forte Subsistence Moose Hunt Application

The 1854 Treaty Authority will issue moose tag to an approved Bois Forte tribal member hunting team (up to four persons) to take a subsistence moose for Bois Forte. Interested parties should provide names and contact information to Bois Forte Conservation Officers Tony Mason or Brian Whiteman Jr. by close of business Friday, September 26. Names will be reviewed by the Bois Forte Conservation Committee and recommendation will be made to the Bois Forte Tribal Council for approval. Selected party will be notified by Bois Forte DNR. Selected party will be notified and can then report to 1854 office for tag distribution.
