Looking for qualified person or persons to serve on the EVFCU Board of Directors

Embarrass Vermilion Federal Credit Union is  accepting BIO’s for a possible position on our Board of Directors. Please submit your BIO which should include:

Who you are.

Why you are running.

Talents or skills that will benefit EVFCU.

Must be member in good standing
Passion for the success of EVFCU
Bondable

A director must have at least a working familiarity with basic finance and accounting practices, including the ability to read and understand the credit union’s balance sheet and income statement and the ability to ask, as appropriate, substantive questions of management and auditors.

The board has the overall responsibility for the credit union’s direction, safety and soundness and legal compliance. To meet these responsibilities, the board must establish sound policies, retain qualified management, and establish acceptable risk exposure levels.

This position requires attending monthly meetings and participation in EVFCU events.  This is a volunteer position that will make a difference in your community and our credit union family.

All BIO’s must be submitted by May 31st.
