Bois Forte Public Health COVID-19 Case Announcement 12/22/21
Boozhoo All,
The Bois Forte Community had 3 additional cases of COVID yesterday. We have 4 active cases as of yesterday. Please see the attached for more information.
We continue to see more influenza cases than COVID. If you have any new symptoms, such as fever, body aches, sore throat, cough, nausea/vomiting, diarrhea or headache, please call the clinic to get tested. We can test you for COVID and influenza.
Reminder for influenza you are contagious up to 24 hours after the last time you had a fever. You should stay home till at least 24 after your fever goes away without taking Tylenol/ibuprofen and your symptoms are improving. Please do not attend any gatherings or have people over while you are still contagious.
We have flu shots and COVID shots available at both clinics, please call to schedule an appointment. If you haven’t gotten your flu shot since September this year, you are due for one. If it has been more than 6 months since you had your COVID vaccine, you are due for a booster.
