Bois Forte Public Health COVID-19 Case Announcement 1/13/22
Boozhoo All,
We had 8 new cases and a total of 35 active cases on the Reservation as of January 12, 2022. Cases continue to rise.
Please get tested if you have ANY symptoms- we want to stop the spread early. You are the most contagious 2 days BEFORE yours symptoms started until up to 3 days AFTER your symptoms started.
Please wear a mask at all times when you’re having contact with other employees and community members. Even if you’re vaccinated! We want to slow the spread as much as possible.
Please get vaccinated or boosted: Starting the week of January 17, 2022 if you have contact with a positive case and your COVID vaccines are not up to date you WILL BE QUARANTINED.
What that means is: If you had Pfizer or Moderna and it’s been longer than 5 months since your last shot OR you had Johnson & Johnson and it’s been longer than 2 months you are DUE NOW FOR A BOOSTER!
