GAMING CLASS:           Key Management Employee; Gaming License Required

JOB SUMMARY:

The Slots Manager is directly responsible for the planning, directing, controlling, and coordinating of slot department operations ensuring maximization of revenue through comprehensive budget administration, slot analysis, and creative marketing.  The Slots Manager will achieve and maintain standards of excellence in quality guest service through effective leadership, communication and personnel management.  The Slots Manager ensures compliance with all federal, state and tribal gaming ordinances, laws and regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

It is required that the Slots Manager have a 4-year degree in Gaming, Information Technology, or in Management.  In addition, the Slots Manager should possess and/or demonstrate the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:

• Must have experience in administration and management of personnel
• Knowledge of all applicable gaming compliance and regulations for slot operations
• Must have strong knowledge and experience in slot accounting systems, floor and layout designs, and server based technology
• Must possess strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Must have a strong computer background and knowledge of database management
• Must have strong written and oral communication skills
• Must be a critical thinker with an ability to solve complex problems
• Must have an ability to plan, develop strategies / objectives, execute, and measure for results
