2008-2009 Ferrellgas Special Propane Pricing

On May 28, 2008 the Tribal Government accepted Ferrellgas proposed pricing for the delivery of propane for the 2008-09 heating season.  Ferrellgas is extending this “fixed price” of $2.045 to Bois Forte band members and employees (band members & employees in the Vermilion location are included to receive this price).  Current customers, or those who wish to switch to Ferrellgas, must activate their buying agreement prior to July 15, 2008.  After this date, Fellellgas cannot guarantee that the price will remain at $2.045.

Non-standard installations that require extensive trenching, additional lines, etc. could result in additional charges.  No rental fees for tank lease. 

Ferrellgas Conditions:

Requires a minimum 200 gallons.  $50.00 fee applies if the minimum amount of propane is not ordered.

Service labor charges will be billed at $75.00 per hour during business hours on non-Ferrellgas equipment and $90.00 after hours.  Ferrellgas guarantees all work for installation of new tanks for the duration of the contract. 

Will provide standard and emergency propane service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  Emergency propane delivery fee is a flat fee of $125.00 for same day, after-hours and weekends.

NOTE:  If they have a truck in the area when order is placed, they will waive same-day fee whenever possible. 

For all out of gas calls Ferrellgas must perform a full leak test in an effort to protect the resident. If the out of gas is not a result of a Ferrellgas problem (the customer failed to call in their order in a timely manner, etc.), there will be a charge of $29.99 for the leak test.  To avoid out of gas calls, please call Ferrellgas when the tank is at 30% for delivery to be scheduled, especially during the winter months. 

Discount on propane appliances:  The Band, residents and employees will receive a 15% discount on all propane appliances purchased from Ferrellgas.

Call Brian to set up account and arrange for tank switch out if needed.  Payment on credit accounts is net 30.  For customers who cannot pass the credit check, then they are pay in advance, or cash on delivery. 

Customers are requested to keep a path clear and snow off the propane tank through out the winter. Participation in this program is not mandatory.
