Minutes of a special meeting of the Bois Forte Reservation Tribal Council held August 31, 2009 at Nett Lake, Minnesota.

Meeting called to order at 10:09 a.m.

Members Present:           Kevin W. Leecy; David C. Morrison, Sr.; Cathy Chavers;

                                          Ray Villebrun, Sr.; Ray Toutloff

Members Absent:           None

Others Present:   Barb Brodeen; Corey Strong; Vicki Villebrun

Moved by Cathy Chavers; seconded by David Morrison, Sr.; to adopt resolution #13-2010, Bois Forte 2009 Tribal Wildlife Grant Proposal to the United States Fish & Wildlife Service for funding in the amount of $195,184.00 for surveying aquatic plant communities in the Nett Lake River and Littlefork River.  Carried 4-0-0.

Moved by Ray Toutloff; to approve the submission of the Bois Forte 2010 Water Resources Proposal to the BIA Water Resources Management Program in the amount of $297,787.00 for the Lake Restoration Project and to approve the documents to be signed by Chairman Kevin Leecy. 

Since this is a grant that does not require matching funds it does not need Council action for submission.

Ray Toutloff withdraws his motion.
